9/25/2005, Mino Waterfall with Akemi

On Sunday, Akemi and I make a little excursion to a place called Mino, just outside the Osaka city limits.  It's very easy to get to and very pretty.  People call it a hike, but I don't.  More of a stroll.  It's short and mostly paved with concrete trails.  And, there are little noodle and sweet shops all around.  That said, it's a really nice place to go and relax.  The whole environment, including the little shops, is very pleasant.

I love these scenes I see in Japan with all different shades of green mixed together.

I'm told it's just gorgeous in the fall when the leaves start changing colors.  I believe it.
