3/11/2005, Jazz show: Himeji Jazz Marathon

It was a normal Friday at work.  Around 4:00 PM, I got a call on my cell phone from an acquaintance I met once a while ago.  He wanted me to go to a jazz show at 6:30 PM.  That gave me 2.5 hours.  I had something else I needed to do, but... Okay!  I'm always up to hear some jazz.  And, in this case, he was playing in the show so he provided me with a free ticket.

The show was really great.  Lots of local jazz musicians going up on stage performing in a decent sized concert hall called Caspa.

I took this picture with my cell phone.  I know it looks terrible, but maybe it will give you an idea of the atmosphere, at least a little.  If you're interested.
