2/6/2006, A bowl of ramen after a snowy day

Since my school is at the top of a mountain, we've had light snowfall fairly frequently.

I snapped this picture at school in the afternoon.  It was really quite pretty.

After school, I went with friends Jeff and Nassir for ramen at a noodle shop.  If you take a train a ways, there's a shopping mall with a whole array of ramen shops.  Each shop serves a style of ramen distinctive to a particular region of Japan.  It's a much bigger attraction than the mall itself.  We spent about ¥700 (≈$7, one way) to get ther, plus about ¥600 (≈$6) for the ramen.
