4/10/2005, Cherry blossoms (hanami) in Tatsuno

Akemi read something online that the tiny town of Tatsuno is a good place for viewing cherry blossoms (hanami).  Tatsuno is near Aioi, so we decided to make a go of it.  We rented bikes at the train station in Tatsuno and spent a few hours riding around to various spots with lots of beautiful cherry trees in full bloom.  The weather was perfect.  It was warm, but not too hot and the skies were gorgeous.  Tatsuno is a little out of the way (you have to take two trains) so it wasn't too crowded.  It was just perfect.
