11/5/2004, A professional play at school

Just a neat assembly at school.  They brought in a professional theater group to do a play in the school gymnasium.  The group brought some impressive props, including and a huge backdrop and big structures for sound and light.  The play was in Japanese (and difficult Japanese at that), so I understood next to nothing.  But, it was interesting to see a Japanese play.  It seemed pretty traditional.  It was also cool that the school chose to do it.
