9/7/2004, Typhoon #3
No school today. Sat at school and wrote some scripts (small computer programs) to make this web site easy to maintain.
In the afternoon, there was another typhoon, the third one in the ≈6 weeks I've been here. A few teachers got excited and went home at noon, but most of us stuck around for a while. I didn't have much to do, so I went out for a couple walks. Got completely soaked. Found a hill with a big plateau on top. Perfect place to get blown around by the wind. I could almost lean back and let the wind hold me up - almost. Came back totally drenched. I think the staff here are getting used to my antics already. Cool, I think.
